The ParanoiaFF is part of the second generation family of the products in the range and incorporates fibre channel host and tape interfaces to allow it to be used in the newer SAN configurations where Fibre Channel tape drives are being utilised.
ParanoiaFF can be used in full fabric, point to point and arbitrated loop environments making it an affordable and easily configured solution for data storage encryption for both archive and backup use. The unit automatically detects the WWN of the connected device and sets the WWN it publishes to the same to ensure a smooth a straightforward integration into the tape environment.
The optional network connection allows for remote management, monitoring and auditing of the unit. When used with the optional iCard and iSecure SmartCard software the key and password management can be securely controlled from a central location.
ParanoiaFF is fully compatible with the Paranoia2 and SafeTape product range.
